Our history

ITALFORNI, a company with a modern and dynamic character, operates in a highly specialized way in the field of electric and gas ovens. The company, backed by forty years of experience, pays meticulous attention to every construction detail, using the best materials available on the market. The production is divided into a range of models that are aimed at the Pizzeria, Bakery, Pastry, Gastronomy and Industrial Tunnel ovens fields.

ITALFORNI has always been successfully engaged in advanced ovens for ceramics, porcelain and glass bending. The company proposes itself as a technologically forward-looking, dynamic and efficient structure, perfectly capable of responding to every type of professional need, through the quality of its products.

ITALFORNI was born in Pesaro in 1978, thanks to the courage and passion of Bruno Ricci and Branislav Pagani, the two founding partners. Together they create an artisan company specializing in the production of electric and gas ovens for the professional field. Initially, the core business was concentrated in the ovens for the processing of ceramics, glass and porcelain, but the great potential of the rapidly expanding HO.RE.CA field is immediately understood, specializing the production on ovens for food baking.

In 1997 Andrea Ricci, Bruno’s son, became General Manager and together with his brother Roberto, Production Manager, they initiated a phase of managerialization and international expansion of the company by investing in innovation and design.

The strategy changes through a series of investments in numerous new products, which lead the company to expand internationally, through a capillary agents and distributors network. Succession of goals, excellent results and important projects has led Italforni to join the world of WAICO, the White Art Italian Companies.

2022

ITALFORNI BY WAICO. ITALFORNI has join WAICO, White Art Italian Companies, a group born from the union of leading Italian companies in the bakery, pizza & pastry sector that develops professional equipment.

2021

NEAPOLITAN PIZZA OVEN. The company, with forty years experience, develops a new oven for cooking Neapolitan pizza with an unique and high-performance design.

2019

NEW BRAND IDENTITY. Under the creative direction of Matteo Beraldi, the company renews its brand identity, with a current and modern language, following the evolution of the market.

2018

40 YEARS OF ITALFORNI. International expansion and constant growth lead the company to be among the production leaders of industrial ovens for the HO.RE.CA.

2012

BULL THE 1st DESIGN OVEN. The BULL comes from the pencil of Raffaele Gerardi, the first design oven in the pizza world, completely covered in tempered glass.

1997

GENERATIONAL CHANGE. The new executive board brings innovation and changes, both from a commercial and production point of view, focusing on design and quality.

1988

MODULAR DECK OVEN EURO. Investments are made in the food sector and the modular deck oven EURO born, which has the possibility of stacking up to 3 baking chambers.

1984

HEADQUARTERS EXPANSION. Production increases steadily, year after year and it’s decided to move to a new location to expand the development of new products.

ITALFORNI BORN. Company with a modern and dynamic character, it operates in highly and specialized way in the field of electric and gas ovens.

The internationalization of the company has been a constant and ambitious process carried out by the second management generation, which has always believed in Made in Italy and its values such as beauty, creativity and innovation. This intuition has led the company to an average of constant annual growth of over 7%.

70% of turnover derives from exports which continue to grow especially in rapidly expanding countries in the HO.RE.CA sector, such as Russia and the Middle East, as well as a solid presence of ITALFORNI in North and South America. 5% of the turnover is re-invested in research and development to offer customers always current and future-oriented solutions.

This new recognition comes as a confirmation of the fact that ITALFORNI is one of very few Italian companies that are in a position to offer the highest degree of commercial reliability to their partners.
